What are ultra-low emissions vehicles?
In the UK, cars and vans currently fall into this sought-after category if they produce no more than 75g of CO2 per kilometre.
A wide variety of vehicles
With car manufacturers pouring considerable effort into making their vehicles more and more efficient and environmentally-friendly, the list of ULEVs becomes longer on a frequent basis and includes all manner of normal makes and models from the Volkswagen Golf GTE and Audi A3 e-tron family hatchbacks and the prestigious BMW 330e saloon and Mercedes-Benz C350e (with 17 inch rear wheels), to the practical Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV and Volvo’s V60 PHEV estate and XC90 Twin Engine SUV.
Why go ultra-low?
As well as helping to lower your personal or company fleet’s fuel bill and make less of an impact on the environment, many ULEVs also qualify for the government’s Plug-In Car Grant (PICG). Find out more about it here.
